Marian is an LA-based architecture studio, founded by Jessica Marian Christensen, with a passion for producing inspired and meaningful ways to enhance the spaces people occupy. We believe that good design starts with an understanding of how occupants will use a space and how they want that space to communicate back to them.

We aim to deliver thoughtful design focused on flow, light, and form to build unique character in a space that relates directly to its context and the needs of its occupants.

Jessica Marian Christensen is a licensed architect and founder of Marian. With over a decade of experience and an aspiration to improve the way people live, Jessica formed Marian anchored by a philosophy that well-designed spaces transcend trend, time, and even budget. Jessica’s passion is producing inspired and meaningful ways to enhance the spaces in which people live through thoughtful consideration of both the people and the spaces.

Jessica is originally from the Midwest and received a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan. She lives with her husband, daughter, and a couple of pets in the Del Rey neighborhood of LA.
